National Road Autosport has a five year track record of successfully creating leveraged relationships with specialty media outlets and sports car “marque” clubs throughout the Mid Atlantic States.

For promotion to entrants and interested sports car enthusiasts, the Polish Mountain Hillclimb will primarily depend on the following:

MOTORSPORTS MEDIA OUTLETS
National Road Autosport is pursuing media coverage on television shows such as MotorWeek, My Classic Car and Sports Car Revolution and will make editorial contacts with Classic Motorsports Magazine and Grassroots Motorsports Magazine, along with mainstream auto magazines including
Automobile, Car and Driver and Road and Track.

ECONOMIC IMPACT
Since 2002, National Road Autosport has been surveying entrants to the Cumberland Airport Autocross Series and has been providing estimates of annual economic impact to local government and media outlets.

Out of town autocross attendees have been surveyed to directly expend $500 per party, per event weekend in Allegany County, including one to two night’s lodging, meals and other purchases.

The Polish Mountain Hillclimb entry list will be 90-95% overnight out-of-town. The event schedule will strongly encourage two nights of lodging or camping from an estimated audience of 200 individuals, including organizers, drivers, crew and family who will make a direct combined expenditure of $50,000 on the event weekend.

Using the standard 3X multiplier for tourism related spending, direct local economic impact of the Polish Mountain Hillclimb weekend is estimated at $150,000, not taking into account any residual benefits from event publicity, return visits by attendees or sponsoring entities.
